These switches remounted on a slim pcb and have the following functions (from left to right):<\/p>\n<p>[PLAY] [PAUSE] [STOP] [PREVIOUS] [NEXT] [SEARCH BACKWARD] [SEARCH FORWARD] [OPEN\/CLOSE]<\/p>\n<p>On this pcb there&#8217;s also a header for connecting the ON\/OFF push button. A total of 9 switches in a 3&#215;3 matrix wired to the controller connector J4. Here you find the <a title=\"Keyboard schematics\" href=\"\/cd-pro\/doc\/keyboard-sch.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">schematics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Motor driver<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bergrans.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/motor_driver_pcb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-85\" alt=\"Motor Driver PCB\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bergrans.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/motor_driver_pcb-300x229.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"229\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.bergrans.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/motor_driver_pcb-300x229.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.bergrans.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/motor_driver_pcb.jpg 368w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>To open and close the cover I&#8217;m using a 5W Maxon DC motor (<a href=\"\/cd-pro\/datasheets\/maxon_a-max_22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">110124<\/a>) with a 64:1 gearhead (<a href=\"\/cd-pro\/datasheets\/gearhead_gs24.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">110483<\/a>). It only needs 1.5 turn to displace the cover over 13cm. With this motor\/gearhead it takes about 1.2 seconds to open\/close the cover.<\/p>\n<p>The motor is driven by a small <a href=\"\/cd-pro\/doc\/motor_drive_pcb.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">motor driver pcb<\/a>. The driver <a href=\"\/cd-pro\/doc\/motor_drive_sch.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">schematic<\/a> is based on the L6202 driver.
